MacMahon commented, "Adeseye can be rather touchy—he's always preoccupied with rumors swirling around him, and he constantly brags about the high expectations placed upon him. However, it's important to note that the Heat were not initially seen as favorites at the start of the season. They essentially stripped their roster bare in pursuit of Giannis Antetokounmpo. While fans might be thrilled about this development, it's hard to envision this current lineup as a ready-made championship contender. The Heat are likely looking at a minimum of next summer to complete their roster puzzle."
